Many things are possible. If you have the Intel® ZE motherboard (processor in corner, socketed cache memory), you can upgrade to a Pentium Classic 200 MHz by simply replacing the processor and fan and moving some jumpers. Refer to INTEL-BRO-BIOS for more information. By replacing the entire motherboard, with the attendant cable hassles, you can do whatever you want.
Contact support@nematron.com for assistance.
The Intel® ZE motherboard will support a maximum of (4) 32Mb SIMMs, for a total of 128Mb RAM. Use 70ns Fast Page or 60ns EDO, non-parity, 72-pin SIMMs. Banks are arranged with two slots each, and bank 0 may have a different type and/or size than bank 1, but each slot in a bank must contain the same size and type.
There is a DIP switch module on the motherboard. Turn power off, and DIP switch 3 on. Then turn power on and off again. Turn DIP switch 3 off. Password is now cleared.
There is a DIP switch module on the motherboard. Turn power off, and DIP switch 4 on. Then power on and off again. Turn DIP switch 4 off. Refer to the document "ZE BIOS Settings" for instructions on how to restore Nematron default settings.
