The motherboard will support a Pentium III up to 800MHz with BIOS rev. 2.00. Caution should be taken to ensure the correct voltage jumper configuration to prevent damage upon power up. Refer to the Tsunami AT Motherboard Guide for more information.
The motherboard contains (4) 1-slot DIMM banks. At least one DIMM must be present (minimum 8Mb) for the system to POST. The banks accept 168-pin unbuffered SDRAM up to 256Mb (w/SPD or +ECC), and 66 or 100MHz speed. The maximum is therefore 1024Mb. 100MHz SDRAM must be used to take advantage of the 100 MHz front side bus speed.
There is a jumper setting on the motherboard used to erase CMOS RAM. (Jumper JP6 is approximately in the center of the motherboard). Turn power off, and move the jumper from JP6 pins 1 and 2 to pins 2 and 3. Wait 2 seconds, then return jumper to pins 1 and 2. Turn power on and run Setup to re-configure. Refer to the document "Tyan BIOS Settings" for instructions on how to restore Nematron default settings.
